Challenge: Day 4/30

Day 4 of the 30 days, 30 ideas challenge where I create 30 ideas for games over the next 30 days. See other days here.

Deduction

Game type: Social deduction card game

Length:15 mins

Idea:

Social deduction where an investigator has to guess what type of cult/criminal organisation they are dealing with before the crime is committed. Crimes could be theft, murder, conversion etc.

Different powers/cards are shuffled into deck and revealed over time as the criminals play cards towards that crime. Criminals view one of multiple crimes so are aware but is hidden from the investigators/inquisitors.

Whereas most games involve working out the player roles, this one would be focused on working out what the crime being done is and then shutting that down. The investigator would need to have a way of stopping each one for it to work.
